Le Mans
Our own 6 hour playoff on the real Motul Petit Le Mans, raced on iRacing at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. GTP, LMP2 and GT3 share the track, each class gets its own podium, and the race starts in daylight and finishes in the dark. Race online for free, or bring your team to our Tampa lounge.
Build a team of 1 to 6 drivers and split the stints however you want. There is no minimum or maximum drive time, so a solo driver can go the distance and a full crew can rotate every stop.
The field runs on iRacing at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in GTP, LMP2 and GT3. Each class races for its own podium, and the winning team in each class takes home $20 cash. Weather is dynamic and rain is possible, so plan for a tire change you might not expect.

Find the league in iRacing
In iRacing, go to Leagues and search for "Academy Sim Racing".

Request to Join
Every driver on the team sends their own join request, not just the team captain.

Practice
Once you are approved, the test session is open with race BoP and weather, so you can learn the track in the conditions you will race in.
Register your team on the sign-up form as well, so we know who is driving for whom.
Race Rules
Fuel and tires are done one after the other, never at the same time. The session rules enforce it. Driver changes happen only during pit stops.
At least 2 full course yellows at random, unannounced times. A yellow for a big accident counts toward the 2. Once the minimum is met, yellows are called only for huge accidents.
IMSA style lap-down wave-by under yellow. Not in the first 60 minutes, at most once every 90 minutes, and not in the last 30 minutes.
Pit lane follows the standard iRacing caution rules.
Faster classes pass cleanly. The overtaking car is responsible for the pass.
Open setups: bring your own or run the iRacing baseline. You need to own Road Atlanta and your car. Dynamic weather, rain possible.
Race control has the final say on every call.
